Presidents have come to rely on a large staff based in the White House to handle a wide range of administrative tasks from policymaking to speechwriting. Informal - The power to go public, power of persuasion, make executive agreements, issue executive orders, issue signing statements, create & use bureaucracy, personality and leadership, and make legislative proposals.
Formal - Veto power, command armed forces, pardoning power, appointment powers, make treaties, convene Congress

The executive branch shares many powers with Judiciary and Congress, for instance Congress and the executive help each other when it comes to military forces by managing it and maintaining it also build foreign relations and policy making. The judiciary help enforce and negotiate laws with the executive branch.
